The Chinese toy brand CCSTOYS has revealed the latest information for "Lazengann," the newest product in their alloy action figure "MORTAL MIND" series, based on "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann." Pre-orders are expected to open soon.
The True Spiral King Machine "Lazengann" is a Ganmen piloted by the Spiral King Lordgenome. Utilizing the same system as Gurren Lagann, it possesses a beast-like physique and excels in agile close-quarters combat. It can also generate sharp drills from various parts of its body for attack. Coupled with Lordgenome's immense Spiral Power and battle-hardened piloting skills, its performance is arguably the pinnacle among all Ganmen.
"Lazengann" continues the design style of its predecessor, Gurren Lagann, expressing its jet-black machine design with armor lines resembling the human body and high-density segmentation. Both its single-horned head and the ferocious face on its abdomen revealing sharp teeth are incredibly cool. Through alloy joint parts and metallic paint finish, it achieves tighter joints, a heavy play feel, and a substantial metallic texture.
In terms of accessories, in addition to a dedicated display stand, various interchangeable hands, and purple effect parts, it can also have drill effects attached to circular holes all over its body, similar to the previous Gurren Lagann. This allows it to launch slender drills from its entire body, recreating the OVERLORD form that appeared at the end of the story. Furthermore, it includes a massive stone-carved throne part, allowing Lazengann to sit atop it and display the Spiral King's imposing presence.
