Sci-fi military brand JOYTOY, whose best-selling 1/18 scale licensed action figure series for Warhammer 40,000, today announced pre-order details for the first product from the newly introduced Chapter, the "Grey Knights" – the "Grey Knights Venerable Dreadnought". Interested Warhammer fans can contact via email: [email protected].
Grey Knights
The Grey Knights, designated Chapter 666, are a special Chapter under the Ordo Malleus of the Inquisition, dedicated to combating the Chaos Gods and eradicating all things related to Chaos. They are one of the most powerful Chapters among the Space Marines. The entire Grey Knights Chapter is composed of psykers, possessing unwavering will, strict discipline, and constant vigilance against the incursions of Chaos Daemons. Grey Knights wear silver Aegis armor and wield Nemesis weapons, using their psychic powers to incinerate daemons or aid allies. Due to the nature of Chaos, the Grey Knights must maintain strict secrecy, thus they do not share information with allies, even going so far as to kill allies who have come into contact with Chaos, and will silence any unauthorized mortals who learn of their existence, all to protect the Grey Knights' presence.
Grey Knights Venerable Dreadnought
The Grey Knights Dreadnought is one of the rarest and most advanced variants in Imperial service. Within the steel sarcophagus of each Dreadnought lies the remains of a Space Marine mortally wounded in battle, allowing these ancient and battle-hardened warriors to continue serving the Imperium. While other Space Marines consider interment within a Dreadnought a great honor, the Grey Knights would rather die on the battlefield or be interred in a monastery's tomb. The Dreadnoughts used by the Grey Knights are equipped with a rare and complex defensive system known as the "Aegis," which, through various runes carved upon its chassis, grants it powerful psychic energy capable of resisting the supernatural forces of Chaos servants or daemons.
The Space Marine Grey Knights Venerable Dreadnought is the first release from the new "Grey Knights" Chapter in JOYTOY's Warhammer 40,000 1/18 scale series. The mech faithfully recreates the Chapter's distinctive silver armor, along with numerous runes and carvings. It also includes two different interchangeable Power Fists, one of which is adorned with skull carvings. The "Grey Knights" Chapter, beloved by many fans, has finally arrived! While the initial Venerable Dreadnought might not offer many surprises, we eagerly anticipate the release of more characters!
