World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys yesterday (27th) announced its latest product from Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, the "Darth Vader" 1/6th scale collectible figure! It will be released simultaneously in a regular edition and a deluxe edition, and this article will provide product information for the "DX27 Regular Edition".
The biggest highlight of the terrifying Dark Lord "Darth Vader," making his return to the DX series, is the brand-new head sculpt that recreates his terrifying face revealed after his helmet was sliced open by a lightsaber in Episode 6 of Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with the damaged chest apparatus. This not only vividly conveys the intensity of the battle in the series but also offers Star Wars fans an exciting battle-damaged Vader to collect! This figure stands approximately 35 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. The costume, crafted from composite materials, simultaneously showcases metallic and leather textures. The details of the torn cape are faithfully reproduced, and the helmet features realistic damage marks. The pale, decaying skin is also meticulously sculpted, and the movable eye design allows for various expressions.
Accessories include multiple interchangeable hands, a red lightsaber with LED light-up function, Vader's lightsaber hilt, a lightsaber effect part for a swinging pose, and the Third Sister's pair of lightsabers. The base is designed to resemble a rocky environment. Additionally, the special edition will include a holographic statue of the Grand Inquisitor and a Holoprojector.
