Japanese company quesQ (Kuesu Q Co., Ltd.) has recently announced their latest product, following the popular anime 'Made in Abyss' character 'Nanachi', the 'Lord of Dawn Bondrewd' PVC painted complete figure. It is priced at 32,780 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2023.
Known as 'Bondrewd the Novel', the delver Lord of Dawn is a mad scientist who stops at nothing to uncover the secrets of the Abyss. Devoid of concepts of good and evil, he utilizes all available resources to pursue his ideals, even conducting numerous inhumane experiments, using Nanachi, Mitty, and Prushka as test subjects. As a result, he achieved many unprecedented accomplishments: pioneering new paths, establishing deep-layer strongholds, and significantly advancing delving technology.
The 'Lord of Dawn Bondrewd' PVC painted complete figure stands approximately 27 cm tall. This top-ranked White Whistle delver is presented as a full-body statue, with his iconic arms-outstretched pose creating an unsettling atmosphere. His black-toned attire and power suit, featuring intricate mechanical details, are meticulously sculpted. The flowing coat tails contrast texturally with the large, rigid tail on his back. A major highlight is the detailed opening and closing mechanism of the backpack, designed with movable parts to store and detach 'cartridges'.
