Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys yesterday (28th) announced the second wave of figures available for pre-order at the annual "Hot Toys Summer Showcase 2022 Collectible Figures Exhibition"! This article brings you information on the "Iron Man Mark III (2.0)" 1/6th scale collectible figure from the 2008 MARVEL film "Iron Man"!
The "Iron Man Mark III" is the Iron Man suit that Tony Stark improved upon the silver "Mark II" and applied a striking red and gold paint scheme. It is the official version of the Iron Man armor that appeared in the first MCU film "Iron Man" and is considered one of the most iconic and popular designs. This 2.0 version, which emphasizes a weathered look, features a less saturated red armor compared to the original "MMS256D07", giving it a heavier feel. The size has also been slightly increased, standing approximately 32.5 cm tall, with 36 points of articulation, and enhanced waist joints.
This figure also utilizes rich playability to showcase the intricate mechanisms of this Iron Man suit while bringing more variations to the overall look! It includes heavily damaged chest and shoulder armor replacement parts, a battle-damaged helmet, deployable back air flaps and calf armor, as well as LED light-up functions in the eyes, palms, arc reactor on the chest, and calves. Accessories include shoulder missiles, forearm rocket launchers, aesthetically pleasing deployed forearm armor, a meticulously sculpted "Robert Downey Jr." unmasked head sculpt, and a specially designed base themed after Tony's defeat of Iron Monger. The overall package is truly amazing! A must-buy!
▼ Additionally, Hot Toys has also simultaneously released a special version with "damaged helmet and parts"!
