Hong Kong model brand FLAME TOYS, after announcing the first product in its new transforming and combining model series 'Karakuri Combine', the "Dino Megazord", has now unveiled the in-development prototype for the second product from "Power Rangers / Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger", the "Dragon Caesar / Dragonzord". The release date is TBD.
The Dragon Caesar is the Yamato Tribe's Guardian Beast, summoned from the sea by the Dragon Ranger after playing the "Zyusouken". By changing the tone of the Zyusouken, Dragon Caesar can be remotely controlled. Its fingers can fire super-heated energy blasts called "Dragon Comet", and its drill-shaped tail possesses formidable attack power. It can also concentrate energy in its chest to deploy a full-body protective shield. Alone, it possesses the ability to combat multiple giant enemies. Furthermore, it can combine with the Mammoth, Saber-toothed Tiger, and Triceratops to form "Gouryujin", or combine with the Dino Megazord to form "Mega Dragonzord".
For the "FLAME TOYS Dragon Caesar / Dragonzord", only unpainted prototypes and design drafts for Gouryujin and Mega Dragonzord have been released so far. It can be observed that its physique is more slender and elongated compared to the original design. While it may have lost some of its dinosaur-like feel, it is believed that these are improvements made for enhanced articulation and combination mechanisms. More articulated joints are visible, with less interference in movement, and it is expected to maintain flexible articulation even after combining.
