Japan's SEGA game company's SEGA PRIZE PM series will release a character figure of the "Elf" in an otherworld style, based on the popular new anime "Uncle from Another World". It is scheduled for release in December 2022!
"Uncle from Another World" (Isekai Ojisan), written by Japanese manga artist Hotondo Shindeiru, tells the story of the protagonist Takafumi Takaoka, who visits his uncle in the hospital. His uncle has been in a coma for 17 years and recently woke up. Just as Takafumi is about to tell his uncle that no one in the family wants to take care of him, he witnesses his uncle performing magic from another world—it turns out his uncle is a survivor who returned from the otherworld of Granbahamal! While listening to his otaku uncle's tales of swords and magic, Takafumi encourages him to become an otherworld-style YouTuber... The two embark on a new life of otherworld x cross-cultural experiences!
▼The TV anime adaptation premiered in July 2022!
As a die-hard SEGA fan, what would Uncle's feelings be now that SEGA PRIZE is releasing an "Elf" prize figure of Aunt? Standing at 14 cm tall, the figure faithfully recreates Elf's tsundere expression, with excellent detailing in the gradient orange-yellow hair, rosy cheeks, skin shading on her pointed ears, and fingernails. The ring on her hand recreates the memorable scene from the series where Uncle, after being saved by her in the otherworld, puts the Starstone ring on her finger as a token of gratitude!
