Japan's official Mobile Suit Gundam Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, recently announced the latest limited edition product from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED", the "MG 1/100 Perfect Strike Gundam Grand Slam Equipped Type", with an expected release date of August 6, 2022.
This product is based on the main body of the "MG 1/100 Aile Strike Gundam Ver.RM" released in 2013. Compared to the older 2006 version, the kit design has been completely revamped, boasting superior part separation, articulation, and sculpt. It also includes previously limited-release expansion equipment such as the "Sword Striker Pack", "Launcher Striker Pack", and "Grand Slam XM404", making it a comprehensive package that allows you to acquire multiple limited-release equipment at once.
With these armaments, the Strike Gundam can freely transform into the "Grand Slam Equipped Type" wielding the Grand Slam, the "Aile Striker Type" equipped with a flexible propulsion pack, the "Sword Striker Type" wielding the 15.78m "Schwert Gewehr" anti-ship sword, the "Launcher Striker Type" capable of firing the 320mm "Agni" hyper impulse cannon, or even the "Perfect Strike Gundam" form with all equipment mounted at once. It also comes with dedicated marking decals to enrich the mobile suit's details.
