To commemorate the broadcast of the anime adaptation of "Fuuto PI," the legitimate sequel to "Kamen Rider W," BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd., Japan, recently announced the latest product in its new series, "SHODO-XX," an evolution of the popular articulated Shokugan "SHODO." The "SHODO-XX Fuuto PI" is scheduled for release in January 2023.

"Fuuto PI," with Riku Sanjo as scriptwriter and Masaki Sato as artist, is the legitimate manga sequel immediately following the live-action "Kamen Rider W." After the collapse of the previous antagonist "Museum," many Gaia Memories are still scattered across the land. The protagonist, Shotaro Hidari, continues to run the Narumi Detective Agency in Fuuto with his partners Philip and Akiko Narumi, solving various cases big and small. One day, Shotaro coincidentally encounters Tokime, a mysterious beauty with incredible abilities, thus unveiling a series of events.

The "SHODO-XX Fuuto PI" figures utilize entirely new parts and rich color applications to faithfully recreate the anime designs of Shotaro Hidari, Philip, and Tokime. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, they feature flexible articulated joints. Shotaro and Philip come with hats, books, multiple interchangeable hand parts, and the "Double Driver" transformation belt to recreate cool transformation scenes.

However, Tokime only includes two types of interchangeable arm parts and no other accessories. Furthermore, Shotaro's head-to-body ratio differs from Philip and Tokime. When all three characters are posed together, it becomes apparent that Shotaro's head is smaller than the other two, creating a noticeable sense of incongruity.
