LEGO's Advent Calendar theme series, which features the play style of "opening a small model or LEGO minifigure each day," unveiled its latest product from Harry Potter yesterday (1st): "76404 Harry Potter Advent Calendar"! It is scheduled for release on September 1, 2022.
This time, the 76404, with a total of 334 pieces, features a minifigure lineup described on the official website including Harry Potter, Sirius Black, Moaning Myrtle, Lord Voldemort, Professor Slughorn, Neville Longbottom, and Nymphadora Tonks. However, Professor Slughorn appears in a comical pose peeking out from an armchair, and the black and purple minifigure more closely resembles Snape's classic look.
The brick-built models are designed as sets of three mini-scenes, allowing players to recall classic movie moments. We once again admire the skill of the official designers; even with a small number of pieces, they can construct highly recognizable appearances for things like the Hogwarts Express, the Flying Car and the Whomping Willow, the wizard-exclusive super-fast Knight Bus, the Weasley family's The Burrow, and more! Highly recommended for Harry Potter fans.
