LEGO's Advent Calendar theme series, known for its "open a small model or LEGO minifigure each day" play style, unveiled its latest MARVEL product yesterday (1st): "76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar"! While detailed product information has not yet been announced, it is speculated to be released on September 1, 2022.
This year's MARVEL Advent Calendar is spearheaded by the unconventional "Guardians of the Galaxy"! With 268 pieces, the overall theme evokes a party-in-preparation atmosphere, exuding a strong festive vibe. The minifigure lineup includes Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, Drax, Nebula, and a teenage Groot who has transformed into a Christmas tree! The brick-built models are divided into two parts: mini vehicles and party props, such as the Milano, Yondu's Laser Drill ship, a giant candy cane decoration, a jet sled, a retro radio, a speaker, and a Thanos punching bag... For minifigure collectors, Drax in his green ugly sweater is definitely a highly collectible item!
