ROBOT魂 "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo EVANGELION Modified Unit-02β / Unit-02" Recreates the Space US Operation!

From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the robot-themed action figure series 'ROBOT魂' (ROBOT SPIRITS), following the release of "EVA New Unit-02α" from "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition," has once again announced its latest product, "ROBOT魂 EVANGELION Modified Unit-02β/Unit-02," with a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY, scheduled for release in March 2023!

Appearing at the beginning of "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo," the EVANGELION Modified Unit-02β was specialized by WILLE for space combat in their mission to reclaim the sealed Unit-01 and Shinji Ikari from NERV. It executed the "US Operation" in satellite orbit alongside EVA Unit-08α. It bears traces of repair on its arms and face, is equipped with massive rocket boosters on its back, and is once again piloted by Asuka.

The "ROBOT魂 EVANGELION Modified Unit-02β/Unit-02" features a darker color scheme suitable for space operations, and faithfully recreates Unit-02's repaired right face and complex mechanical left arm with intricate sculpting. Continuing the excellent articulation design of the ROBOT魂 EVA series, it achieves ultra-high poseability akin to the human body. The high-strength prosthetic arm can not only rotate left and right but also recreate the anchor dart firing state, allowing fans to enjoy the Unit-01 retrieval battle scene from the beginning of "Q"!

For weaponry, it includes two long-stock electromagnetic rifles. Additionally, by swapping out head and arm parts, the appearance of the standard EVA Unit-02 can be recreated.
