(No such research exists) Bushiroad Creative's gashapon brand TAMA-KYU (Tamakyu) will release a visually refreshing new product in August 2022: the "Shaved Ice Gorilla" (tentative translation, Kakigorira) gashapon!
This product is undoubtedly a bizarre creation that playfully combines the Japanese pronunciation of "shaved ice" (kakigori) and "gorilla" (gorira)! The translucent, snowy white shaved ice directly transforms into the gorilla's white fur. While the gorilla's facial contours, chest, abdomen, hands, and feet are fully sculpted, it's truly unexpected how, with just a drizzle of colorful syrup and a 180-degree turn, these gorillas vividly transform into desserts ready to be served! The gorillas' expressions of utter indifference and lack of desire are increasingly amusing the more you look at them! However, having all five variations share the same sculpt, with only color changes, feels a bit lazy – varying the expressions and faces would certainly make them more interesting! It's worth noting that they come with cups, making them truly worth collecting and playing with.
