Issued by Japan's MEGAHOUSE toy company, the scene series 'Realistic Model Series,' designed to complement the 1/144 scale models of the 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series, today announced the latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ,' the 'Nahel Argama Catapult Deck,' following the Argama Catapult Deck, with an anticipated release in March 2023.
This product is a standalone three-dimensional representation of the catapult deck located at the bow of the Nahel Argama, the mothership piloted by protagonist Judau Ashta and others in 'Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.' It is an pre-painted, semi-finished product designed for easy assembly even by model beginners. Each part features meticulously sculpted armor lines and mechanical structures, and a heavy, substantial color scheme is applied using the MAX technique to enhance light and shadow contrast. Additionally, it includes dedicated aircraft marking water decals to realistically reproduce warning lines, text, and other patterns.
The kit includes the Nahel Argama Catapult Deck main body, a central extension deck, two side extension decks, side deck connection parts, a rotating turret, a catapult base, and other components. You can choose to recreate either the central (138 cm total length) or side (91 cm total length) catapult decks of the Nahel Argama, or purchase three sets to recreate the entire bow section. The catapult base can be manually slid from the hangar to the end of the deck, perfectly recreating launch scenes!
The catapult deck is compatible with Bandai's separately sold HG 1/144 series Gunpla. By pairing it with key mobile suits from the series such as the Z Gundam, ZZ Gundam, and Hyaku-Shiki, you can recreate iconic formations from the show!
