To commemorate the anime adaptation of "Fuuto PI," the legitimate sequel manga to "Kamen Rider W," BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has announced the latest products to be bundled with the "Fuuto PI" Blu-ray Discs: Kamen Rider W Luna Trigger Form (Fuuto PI Anime Commemoration Edition) and Kamen Rider W Heat Metal Form (Fuuto PI Anime Commemoration Edition) from the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series, which sculpts figures from the skeletal structure to recreate the physique of the tokusatsu hero actors. These are scheduled for release in April 2023.
"Fuuto PI," with script by Riku Sanjo and art by Masaki Sato, is the legitimate sequel manga to the tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider W." Even after the collapse of the previous antagonist "Museum," many Gaia Memories remain scattered across the land. The protagonist, Shotaro Hidari, continues to run the Narumi Detective Agency in Fuuto with his partners Philip and Akiko Narumi, solving various cases big and small. One day, Shotaro coincidentally encounters Tokime, a mysterious beautiful woman with incredible abilities, thus unveiling the prelude to a series of events.
Both figures will be bundled with the upper and lower volumes of the "Fuuto PI" Blu-ray Standard Edition/Collector's Edition, respectively, and will not be sold separately. The Standard Edition includes anime episodes 1-6 (upper volume) and 7-12 (lower volume), along with audio bonuses. The more luxurious Collector's Edition further adds first-run bonuses (a BD storage box illustrated by Hidekazu Ebina, a disc storage box illustrated by Masaki Sato, and a special booklet), as well as a BONUS DISC containing various live event footage, making-of features, opening and ending animations, and promotional videos.
Bundled with the upper volume, the Kamen Rider W Luna Trigger Form (Fuuto PI Anime Commemoration Edition) is essentially identical to the previously released standard version, boasting excellent sculpting, paintwork, and articulation. It faithfully reproduces the intricate details and colors of the "Double Driver" transformation belt and the "Trigger Magnum" weapon, and includes the "SPIDER SHOCK" support tool. The difference in this version is the addition of a special effect part for the finisher "Trigger Full Burst," and a special display stand printed with LUNA, TRIGGER motifs, and the "Fuuto PI" title.
Bundled with the lower volume, the Kamen Rider W Heat Metal Form (Fuuto PI Anime Commemoration Edition) is essentially identical to the previously released standard version, boasting excellent sculpting, paintwork, and articulation. It faithfully reproduces the intricate details and colors of the "Double Driver" transformation belt and the "Metal Shaft" weapon, and includes the "STAG PHONE" support tool. The difference in this version is the addition of a special effect part for the finisher "Metal Branding," and a special display stand printed with HEAT, METAL motifs, and the "Fuuto PI" title.
