From Japan's M.I.C. Co., Ltd. (Kabushiki-gaisha M.I.C.)'s emerging brand DIGISM, its "One and Only" series will re-release the "SHOHOKU STARTING MEMBER SET" PVC figures of the Shohoku High School Basketball Team, supervised by manga artist Takehiko Inoue. The classic starting five make their reappearance! Individual figures are priced at 5,478 JPY, while the set is 27,390 JPY, with an anticipated release in December 2022.
Recreating the classic "The spirit collection of Inoue Takehiko" series, the "One and Only Shohoku High School Basketball Team" set includes all five starting members: protagonist Hanamichi Sakuragi, captain Takenori Akagi, the gloriously returning three-point shooter Hisashi Mitsui, point guard Ryota Miyagi, and the immensely popular Kaede Rukawa. In addition to being resized to an easy-to-collect height of approximately 160 mm, new printing technology precisely reproduces the character designs and facial expression contours, while also meticulously recreating details such as body musculature, jerseys, and basketballs.
