The world-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced its latest product from the MARVEL movie "Black Panther": the "Black Panther Original Suit" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Expected to ship in Q3-Q4 2023.
This three-dimensional rendition of Black Panther stands approximately 31.5 cm tall, with 32 points of articulation throughout the body. It faithfully recreates T'Challa's dashing appearance in his form-fitting black suit as seen in the film. Compared to the first Black Panther figure MMS363, the muscle lines on the chest and thighs are more robust, and the surface textures have been meticulously sculpted and refined with high artistic skill. This is complemented by three-dimensional silver claw patterns adorning the neck, elbows, waist, feet, and other areas, allowing the overall design to display intricate layering while maintaining a sophisticated visual effect.
▼ The foot parts also feature new joints to enhance ground contact, allowing the figure to strike more dynamic poses.
In addition to the helmeted Black Panther head sculpt, this figure also includes an unmasked head sculpt meticulously crafted to capture the facial likeness of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, as well as the Wakandan warrior's leopard-shaped mask worn during the ritual combat. Coupled with the Wakandan tribal shield, spear, and multiple interchangeable hands, fans can recreate the heroic presence of this absolute king who will forever live in the hearts of Marvel fans!
