The popular capsule toy series "Narabu-n-desu. (Line-Up Series)" from Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy brand recently announced the latest product from the "Godzilla" and "Hamtaro" collaboration project, "20th Anniversary! Narabu-n-desu. Goji-Ham-kun," scheduled for release in September 2022.
The legendary Goji-Ham-kun was an official collaboration character released as a moviegoer gift when the 2001 films "Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (GMK)" and "Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Land Adventure" were screened simultaneously. Hamtaro dressed in a Godzilla costume was highly praised at the time. After a 20-year hiatus, the two parties collaborated again in 2021, releasing a variety of merchandise and bringing this adorable character back to life!
"20th Anniversary! Narabu-n-desu. Goji-Ham-kun" is produced at a height of 4.5 cm, capturing Hamtaro's adorable appearance in a Godzilla costume. Both the design and size faithfully reproduce the moviegoer gift from 2001! The differences include the removal of the chain for charm functionality and the hands being redesigned into the "Narabu-n-desu." series' signature outstretched pose. The product also comes in multiple colors, just like the original release, including green, red, blue, pink, orange, and a rarer pearl black, totaling 6 variations. Hamtaro's expression also features 3 different changes!
