The latest product, "Evolution Stone Mini Specimens," launched by the official Japanese Pokémon online store 'POKEMON CENTER ONLINE' and originally scheduled for release in June this year, has finally been confirmed for official release on August 19th after a delay!
In the main series Pokémon games, Evolution Stones are magical items that allow specific Pokémon to evolve. Currently, there are up to 10 different types of Evolution Stones in the game. These minerals appear to contain rich elemental energy, and once they come into contact with specific Pokémon such as Eevee, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and others, a reaction occurs, forcing evolution regardless of their level.
The "Evolution Stone Mini Specimens" set includes all current types of Evolution Stones: Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Leaf Stone, Moon Stone, Sun Stone, Shiny Stone, Dusk Stone, Dawn Stone, and Ice Stone – ten types in total. These mini specimens, approximately 3 cm long, are crafted from materials such as polystone and acrylic, delicately recreating the textures and colors from their original designs. Each Evolution Stone is securely fixed within a clear-lidded display case, with a metal nameplate affixed below, making it look even more like a real specimen box. Furthermore, the product also includes a paper card printed with the same illustrations and item descriptions as found in the game.
