Issued by Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, the popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over 1000 different products, has announced its latest item from "Yu Yu Hakusho" following "Yusuke Urameshi": the "Nendoroid Kurama" articulated figure. It has a suggested retail price of 6,700 JPY and is scheduled for release in March 2023.
Kurama (くらま), a popular character from "Yu Yu Hakusho," is a powerful demon fox with immense demonic energy. Originally a notorious thief from the Demon World, he grew up in the human world under the identity of Shuichi Minamino. As a human, Kurama is a red-haired, green-eyed bishōnen, excelling academically and possessing a gentle demeanor. When transformed into his Yoko Kurama (demon fox) form, he has long silver-white hair, golden eyes, a fox tail, and ears, adopting a more arrogant and cold attitude. He uses various demon world plants as weapons, most frequently the Rose Whip, which is formed from roses.
The "Nendoroid Kurama" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It captures Kurama's initial outfit and distinctive long red hair in an adorable Q-version style. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a cool "standard face," an ethereal "smiling face," and a super cute yet slightly annoying "feigned ignorance face"! Paired with romantic accessories like the "rose," a "whip" for battle scenes, and an "illustration sheet" background printed with rose petals, you can fully enjoy Kurama's elegant and cool appearance!
