Following the 2021 release of "Cleopatra Qubeley Dark Mask Ver.," Japan's official Mobile Suit Gundam Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, recently announced that the latest event-exclusive item from "SD Gundam World Heroes," "SDW HEROES Cleopatra Qubeley," will be released starting August 27, 2022.
The design of Cleopatra Qubeley is inspired by the historical figure Cleopatra and Haman Karn's mobile suit, the Qubeley, from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam." She is a priestess in the Regina World responsible for national ceremonial activities, and also possesses peerless beauty. Her keen senses had already detected anomalies in the world, but due to her frail health, she was targeted by evil figures, leading to her being consumed by the Dark Mask.
"SDW HEROES Cleopatra Qubeley" is based on the previously released Dark Mask Ver. While the parts do not feature intricate color separation, they faithfully reproduce the patterns, snake-like decorations, and other designs across the entire body. The molded color has been changed from black to white, and new color-correcting stickers are included to restore Cleopatra Qubeley's original appearance. Furthermore, the kit still includes the remaining mask and effect parts.
