Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's GASHAPON division, known for its highly popular "Insect Encyclopedia" ultra-realistic shell-less eco-gashapon, previously focused on large-scale figures starting from 10 cm. This time, however, they are taking a different approach with the new series "Insect Encyclopedia Mini Collection Insect 01" gashapon. These non-articulated models meticulously reproduce the insects' original proportions, capturing their natural appearance! The first wave features six types, with a reference price of 400 JPY per capsule, slated for release in late August 2022!
The "Insect Encyclopedia Mini Collection Insect 01" gashapon features six types: Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle (flying type), Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle (walking type), Hercules Beetle (yellow-brown), Hercules Beetle (black), Giraffe Stag Beetle, and Sawtooth Stag Beetle. The figures completely reproduce the body structure, including mandibles, antennae, abdominal segments, and wings, along with other biological details. The paintwork realistically captures the glossy exoskeletons, showcasing insects in their natural habitats and forms!
