Bandai Spirits' Figuarts ZERO series will release a new product based on the highly popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba": the "Daki & Gyutaro" pre-painted figure! The suggested retail price is 14,300 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2023.
The popular sibling duo featured in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc," Daki and Gyutaro, were born in the pleasure district and endured a tragic past. Their mother died young from syphilis, and the siblings relied on each other from childhood. Ume (Daki) became a courtesan thanks to her exceptional beauty, while Gyutaro became a bodyguard and debt collector. In an incident, they were burned to near death by a customer and the owner. To save his sister, Gyutaro sought help from a demon, accepting Muzan's blood, and the two siblings together became Upper Rank Six.
The "Figuarts ZERO Daki & Gyutaro" pre-painted figure, standing approximately 20 cm tall, brings to life the magnificent pose of Daki sitting on Gyutaro's back! Gyutaro's eerie light gray complexion, abnormally twisted, emaciated body, and protruding spine are faithfully recreated. The demonized Daki boldly reveals her cracked white skin, with exquisite detailing on her headpiece, facial floral makeup, the endlessly annoying obi sashes, and the hair's gradient. The flying blood from the scythe is made from clear parts, showcasing their bizarre Blood Demon Art.
