Chinese Shanghai statue manufacturer Infinity Studio, in collaboration with District 4 Studio, following their "Yoko Kurama" release, once again takes the classic Japanese anime "Yu Yu Hakusho" as its theme to unveil the "Younger Toguro 100% Power" 1/6 scale statue. Limited to 400 pieces, the suggested retail price is $869.99 USD, with an estimated release in Q2 2023.
The popular antagonist Younger Toguro from "Yu Yu Hakusho" is a B-class demon with muscle enhancement abilities. Originally Genkai's martial arts partner and lover, 50 years prior to the series, his dojo students were brutally massacred by the demon Kairen. Unable to avenge his disciples, Younger Toguro, consumed by guilt and regret, realized the powerlessness of the human body and the limitations of life, leading to a profound change in his personality. He later killed Kairen and became champion in the Dark Tournament, his wish being to be reborn as a powerful demon that would not age, becoming an even more evil existence in order to eradicate evil.
The "Infinity Studio x District 4 Studio Younger Toguro 100% Power" 1/6 scale statue, standing approximately 52 cm tall, vividly sculpts Younger Toguro's berserk form when he was pushed to his limits during his battle against protagonist Yusuke in the Dark Tournament, absorbing the energy of demons and humans present to unleash his 100% power! His muscles are enhanced to a rock-like, inhuman state, with eerie muscle textures covering his entire body. The lines of his spine on his back are meticulously sculpted, creating a powerful, unnatural, and exaggerated form. Standing atop a base composed of bursting rubble, surrounded by dynamic transparent effect parts, the statue creates an aura of gathering power, poised to launch an attack, with the entire piece exuding an overwhelming sense of presence!
