Japan's Bandai Toy Company's gashapon brand GASHAPON has announced a brand new bird-themed gashapon toy series, "Tsuibami-tai" (tentative translation, Japanese: ついばみ隊), with the first wave released in the 4th week of August 2022.
"Tsuibami-tai" is a product designed by Japanese ceramic artist Yuichi Ijima. Featuring various common birds from daily life, their most recognizable head shapes are crafted into small item holders. The beaks are not only exceptionally large but also designed to function like clips, capable of holding anything from business cards to rollerball pens – practical and adorable!
This wave of products will include five types of collectible popular zoo birds: the Shoebill, the expert river fisherman Kingfisher, the beloved Java Sparrow (White) and Java Sparrow (Black), and the exquisitely colored Sun Conure!
