Japan's GOODSMILECOMPANY, under its "Nendoroid" line of over a thousand types of posable figures, will release the classic robot "Mazinger Z" and the "Nendoroid Great Mazinger" posable figures. The suggested retail price is 6,600 JPY, with an anticipated release in March 2023!
Great Mazinger is a combat robot built by Kenzo Kabuto (Koji's father) to defend against the Mycenae Empire. When Koji Kabuto faced a crisis, Tetsuya Tsurugi piloted Great Mazinger to rescue him and took over the fight against the Mycenae Empire's invasion. Featuring the even more robust "Super Alloy New Z" armor and equipped with luxurious armaments such as the Mazinger Blade and Thunder Break, its performance in all aspects has been upgraded and enhanced, earning it the title of "Earth's Strongest Robot."
The "Nendoroid Great Mazinger" posable figure stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating Great Mazinger's classic armor in adorable Nendoroid Q-version proportions! It features metallic silver, red, blue, and yellow signature colors, with a simple yet dense design that combines the coolness of a super robot with an approachable charm. It comes with two modes for the Scramble Dash: stored and deployed. The Brain Condor on its head is made of transparent material, allowing a glimpse of the cute pilot inside. Additionally, it includes Great Mazinger Punch, Mazinger Blade, and Thunder Break effect parts, along with interchangeable hand gestures and other accessories, allowing for enjoyment of various cool and cute poses!
