The manga series The Quintessential Quintuplets (五等分の花嫁), created by Japanese manga artist Negi Haruba (with the second season of the anime adaptation titled The Quintessential Quintuplets∬), tells the story of the academic prodigy protagonist, Futaro Uesugi, who becomes a tutor for the Nakano quintuplets to repay his family's debts. The story unfolds with his wedding to one of them, flashing back to recount Futaro's encounters with the five sisters, sparking reader discussions about "guessing the bride" and active competition among different fan factions.
One of the heroines, Nino Nakano, is the second daughter of the Nakano quintuplets. She has long, waist-length twin pink pigtails in a hime-cut style. Among the sisters, she is responsible for domestic chores and cooking, embodying "girly power," and is also a fashion expert in clothing and accessory styling.
