Today, the latest 16th installment of the SD scale "Gundam" themed capsule toy series "Mobile Suit Gundam Gashapon Warrior forte", released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON brand, was announced for release in December 2022. Following the 15th installment's price increase from 300 yen to 400 yen, this installment sees another price hike to 500 yen per capsule.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam Gashapon Warrior forte" series, featuring high-density details and a charming SD head-to-body ratio, has evolved further compared to the older "Gashapon Warrior" series, boasting sharper designs and larger armaments. The latest 16th installment is themed around the newest Gundam series, "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury". The lineup includes the Gundam Aerial piloted by protagonist Suletta Mercury, the Gundam Pharact piloted by Elan Ceres, son of a school titan, the Michaelis piloted by Shaddiq Zenelli, and the Dilanza piloted by Guel Jeturk. The distinctive shield armament of the Gundam Aerial is included in the pedestal set.
