Following the Arceus" in the "Pokémon Center Original" series, produced by Japanese toy company KOTOBUKIYA and sold by Pokémon Center Japan, the latest product from the video game "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" has recently been announced: the "Hisuian Zorua & Hisuian Zoroark" non-scale PVC pre-painted figure! Shipping is expected to begin in July 2023.
The fox Pokémon "Zoroark," originally a "Dark" type, takes on the appearance of a white reaper in the "Hisui region," the predecessor to the Sinnoh region. Its type has also changed to "Ghost" and "Normal." Its long, flowing fur that moves as if alive and its sharp gaze are its most prominent external features. Although it displays strong hostility towards humans and other Pokémon, it meticulously protects "Zorua," which it considers family.
This piece stands approximately 18.5 cm tall, featuring a combination of Hisuian "Zorua" and "Zoroark." The miniature Zorua looks forward with a slightly bewildered expression, while Zoroark, as if sensing danger, adopts a low-crouched, alert stance, ready for battle. One can also see its left hand shielding Zorua, fully conveying Zoroark's instinct to protect its companion. The sculpting of the fur and the gradient effects of the red coloring are excellently rendered. The base is designed after the snowy scenes in the game, allowing for an even deeper immersion into the world of "Pokémon Legends: Arceus."
