Japanese gashapon toy manufacturer Qualia collaborates with Japanese sculptor "Ringo (@Ringoclay)" to release a cute new gashapon product, "Shark Croissant" (tentative translation, Samewassan), in December 2022!
Toy collectors, do you remember the "Coffee Cups with Limbs" we introduced earlier? This time, Ringo once again came up with a whimsical idea, reinterpreting sharks as freshly baked, golden-crisp croissants, creating shark-shaped breads that look absolutely delicious! It includes 5 types: "Whale Shark (ジンベエザメ)", "Great White Shark (ホホジロザメ)", "Hammerhead Shark (シュモクザメ)", "Sawshark (ノコギリザメ)", and "Banded Houndshark (ネコザメ)". In addition to their plump, rounded bodies and cute, beady eyes, the realistic paintwork that captures the glossy sheen of bread is also quite impressive. Take them out to play during your next afternoon tea!
Furthermore, although not shown in the official images, the product name includes the keyword "ball chain", making them super therapeutic as charms too!
