Following the release of "Rei Ayanami", "Sakura Suzuhara", and "Asuka" from Bandai's GASHAPON division's high-quality anime character-themed collectible figure series "Gasha Portraits PREMIUM", the company is once again focusing on "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition" to launch "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Shinji Ikari". This release features three different designs and is scheduled for December 2022.
The "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Shinji Ikari" collectible figures are based on Shinji's combat plugsuit appearance from "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition". Both the size and coloring are more luxurious than standard GashaPortraits, featuring a meticulously sculpted EVA plugsuit and an exclusive display base. The lineup includes Shinji A with a matte finish and Shinji B with gradient translucent hair parts. Both versions also feature different facial expressions and poses. Additionally, a Shinji B SP version, designed to be displayed alongside Asuka in her torn plugsuit, will be revealed later!
