South Korean high-end collectible brand Blitzway, in collaboration with Korean toy brand 5PRO STUDIO, following the release of "Bulma's No. 9 Capsule Motorcycle" in their "LEGEND ANIME" product series, now brings another classic early Dragon Ball character! Yesterday (7th), they announced their latest work, the "Launch with One-wheel Motorcycle" (Bad LAUNCH with the One-wheel Motorcycle) 1/6 scale statue! Expected to ship in Q1 2023.
First appearing in the third volume of the "Dragon Ball" manga, "Launch" is a beautiful girl with a dual personality. The trigger for her personality change is "sneezing," and after sneezing, not only her personality but also her appearance changes. Blue-haired Launch is very gentle, while golden-haired Launch immediately starts shooting or chases people with a kitchen knife after her personality shifts. The only constant is that both personalities of Launch are adorable! She is a truly interesting character.
This piece stands approximately 30 cm tall and is designed based on the golden-haired "Launch's" debut appearance, where she is engaged in a police chase. It perfectly captures the triumphant moment she fires backward (though she's about to sneeze the next second). Launch's main body is exquisitely sculpted, showcasing the dynamic flow of her golden hair, her fiery physique, and the intricate folds of her clothing. The shading effects applied to her skin and costume surface also make this Launch even more vibrant! Another major highlight, the "one-wheel motorcycle," not only faithfully recreates its unique design from the manga but also features LED light-up functions in the headlights and taillights, enhancing its realism when illuminated. The plastic fairing, metal footpegs, and the money bag hanging on the side, among other details, are rendered with varying textures through expert paint application.
▼ The early bird pre-order bonus is an interchangeable hand part holding a submachine gun.
