Japanese company Sentinel recently announced the latest product from their robot-themed alloy action figure 'METAMOR-FORCE' series, based on the classic anime "Madō King Granzort": "Granzort Metallic Color ver.", scheduled for release in April 2023. This product is exclusively available for pre-order at Sentinel's official online store, SENTINEL STORE.
DO MA KI SA RA MU, Light up, Granzort!
Granzort is one of the "Three Light Madō Kings" that governs lava and earth, summoned by the Madō Warrior Daichi Haruka using the Madō Gun. Its magic embodies the power of fire and earth, wielding the "Earth God's Sword," the Lava Emperor Sword, as its weapon. It possesses the strongest destructive power among all Madō Kings and is the only Madō King capable of verbal communication.
This product is based on the regular version released in 2020, an action figure made from composite materials such as ABS, PVC, PA, POM, and alloy parts. It boasts a well-proportioned physique, allowing for dynamic battle poses with alloy joints in areas like the knees. It also features a complete transformation mechanism that fully recreates the "Face Mode" without needing to swap parts. The included magic circle-shaped stand allows for display in a floating state.
The difference lies in the armor's color, which has been changed to a metallic paint finish, giving it a heavier metallic texture compared to the regular version. The hip joint parts are also the same as those in the re-release version, which is simultaneously available for pre-order, not only changed from ABS to POM material but also improved in articulation design, making it easier to pose than the old version.
