BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Toy Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has recently announced the latest product from its popular action figure series, 'S.H.Figuarts,' 'Ultraman Zero with Restraint Armor,' originating from 'Mega Monster Battle Ultra Galaxy The Movie,' scheduled for release in February 2023.
The son of Ultraman Seven, 'Ultraman Zero,' possesses exceptionally high warrior qualities, earning him the title of the strongest young warrior in the Land of Light and the sworn enemy of Ultraman Belial. His personality is free-spirited and rough, yet gentle at heart. Overconfident in his own strength, he sought greater power and approached the core of the 'Plasma Spark Tower,' violating a taboo. Under the guise of 'exile,' he left the Land of Light, but was actually taken by his father to the frontier planet K76, where he was entrusted to Ultraman Leo and Astra for a complete retraining of his mind, body, and spirit.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Zero with Restraint Armor' being released this time depicts him in the restraint armor he wore during his training, which limited his power. Supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, numerous new parts are utilized to create the upper body's armored appearance, faithfully reproducing the orange-red pipelines and the metallic sheen of the heavy armor. Paired with the included mini Friendly Monster Pigmon, you can recreate the iconic scene from the series where he protects Pigmon.
Furthermore, the accessories include a set of interchangeable parts. By replacing the head and arm parts and removing the upper body armor, Ultraman Zero's original appearance can be restored. Coupled with a rich selection of interchangeable hand parts, you can pose him in various scenes.
