BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced today the latest product in its original plastic model kit series, "30MINUTES MISSIONS," which features quick assembly, easy customization, and fully embodies the charm of mass-produced machines: the "1/144 eEXM-30 Esposito Theta," scheduled for release in December 2022.
The eEXM-30 Esposito Theta originates from the new project "ANOTHER EXAMACS PLAN," which focuses on heroic machines that turn the tide of battle. In its lore, it is an enhanced version of the Esposito Alpha and Beta, designed by mechanical designer Takayuki Yanase, and primarily deployed to the Earth Alliance Army's air combat-specialized "S873 Unit." This machine features specialized firepower armaments and large wings for enhanced navigation capabilities. In addition to its transformation mechanism between robot and flight forms, it can also accurately hit enemy aircraft with missiles launched from its chest, defending the airspace.
The "30MM 1/144 eEXM-30 Esposito Theta" is a modified version based on previously released Esposito series kits, incorporating numerous new parts including head armor, chest nose armor, shoulder wings, and wrist missile pods. It utilizes new molding colors and newly designed waterslide decals for its body markings to recreate the special appearance of this specialized machine. In addition to its transformation mechanism between robot and flight forms, the kit also includes various gun armaments, additional armor, adapter parts, and other optional customization parts, allowing you to create your unique specifications using the standardized 3mm pegs.
