Japanese model maker FUJIMI (Fujimi Mokei)'s "Jiyu Kenkyu" (Free Research) assembly model series, following products like the "American Crayfish" and "Dead Leaf Mantis", has once again announced two new collaborations with "Evangelion": "Velociraptor Unit-01 Specification" and "Velociraptor Unit-02 Specification", with a reference price of 4,180 JPY each, scheduled for release in December 2022!
The "FUJIMI Jiyu Kenkyu Velociraptor Unit-01 Specification / Unit-02 Specification" is based on the previously released Velociraptor assembly model and consists of 69 parts, faithfully recreating the Velociraptor's skin texture, bird-like hand and foot structures, and sharp claws. The molded colors have been replaced with the purple, green, and black scheme of EVA Unit-01, and the red, white, and orange scheme of EVA Unit-02, respectively. Additionally, stickers with the unit markings are included, allowing for assembly without painting and a more complete recreation of the unit's appearance!
