Japan's Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) recently officially announced the first product in its brand-new "ART FIGURE SELECTION" series, a "Katie Moon's Trick or Treat" non-scale PVC pre-painted complete figure, created in collaboration with renowned Japanese sculptor "Yoshiki Fujimoto"! It is scheduled for release in June 2023.
The ART FIGURE SELECTION series aims to "allow original works by sculptors to be quickly displayed and easily handled," enabling more collectors to enjoy the charm of sculptors' creations! In the case of this "Katie Moon's Trick or Treat," Yoshiki Fujimoto previously released it as a GK (Garage Kit) kit, which required self-assembly and extensive painting. This time, Kotobukiya is releasing it as a pre-painted PVC figure, allowing many toy enthusiasts who appreciate Yoshiki Fujimoto's style but are not adept at GK production to acquire it directly.
This figure stands at 19 cm tall, faithfully recreating "Katie Moon's" incredibly voluptuous physique. Her ample bust, hips, and legs, along with the slight bulge of her belly due to her pose, are utterly captivating. The sharp short hairstyle and the slightly tsundere expression on her face also perfectly reproduce Yoshiki Fujimoto's painted prototype. The paint application was also supervised by Yoshiki Fujimoto, with everything from the gradient colors of her hair, the slightly glossy silver stripes on her outfit, to the metallic feel of the belt rivets and skull accessories, all executed beautifully! Furthermore, her left hand can be switched between holding a lollipop and a knife.
