"I'm still not going. Nothing good ever happens when I go out."
-Anna
From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize brand BANPRESTO, following the "Shaman King" themed merchandise featuring "Yoh Asakura", "Anna Kyoyama", "Hao Asakura"..., a brand new version of the "Anna Kyoyama" (きょうやま アンナ) figure will be released in January 2023!
This "Anna" figure is designed based on her appearance in the "Meet the Kyoyamas" arc, where Anna was still a girl who had closed off her heart and was full of thorns, completely lacking the overbearing and assertive demeanor familiar to toy collectors; this piece not only fully recreates her pink kimono, beige scarf, black geta, and small bag she carried while in Aomori, but also vividly captures Anna's hesitation about going out, her inability to look straight ahead, and her averted gaze from interacting with others, highly expressing the insecurity Anna harbored at the time. For "Shaman King" fans, this early-version Anna is definitely a must-have for your collection!
