MaxFactory, a Japanese company, is releasing a new product in their "figma Vehicles" series, which are large enough for "figma" action figures to ride. The latest product is the "Tiger I Tank" 1/12 scale model from Girls und Panzer, with a suggested retail price of 43,780 JPY, scheduled for release in March 2023!
The Kuromorimine Girls' Academy's Maho Nishizumi's Tank No. 6, the "TIGER I", commonly known as the Tiger I tank, was a heavy tank produced by Nazi Germany during World War II. It featured the highest firepower of its time and a thick 100mm front armor, balancing both offense and defense, making it an "invincible tank" active on the front lines.
The "Tiger I Tank" 1/12 scale model measures approximately 70 cm in length and 25 cm in height, showcasing a substantial presence. It can be paired with the separately sold "figma Maho Nishizumi & Erika Itsumi Set" for display in a riding state! It faithfully reproduces the balanced proportions from the in-anime CG data and is equipped with a built-in dual-motor self-propelled mechanism. The turret can rotate slightly, the main gun can elevate and depress, and various mechanisms such as the hatch opening/closing and the loader's hatch can be manually adjusted. The tank body is pre-assembled (unpainted), and the Kuromorimine Girls' Academy and "212" emblem stickers on the body, along with some parts, need to be self-adhered and assembled.
