The pride of Catarina! Japanese toy company Good Smile Company's best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) toy series will release a Nendoroid figure of the memorable and amusing character "Siegmeyer" from the famous action RPG game 《Dark Souls》, who wears distinctive armor! Scheduled for release in April 2023.
Game company From Software, renowned for developing numerous challenging action RPGs, has created highly popular titles such as 《Demon's Souls》, the 《Dark Souls》 series, 《Bloodborne》, 《Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice》, and 《Elden Ring》. The 《Dark Souls》 trilogy is considered by many players to be an outstanding work; despite its high difficulty and time commitment, the mysterious lore, medieval, and Cthulhu elements within the game keep many players endlessly engaged, willing to face "YOU DIED" countless times to relentlessly challenge and uncover its depths.
Affectionately nicknamed "Onion Dad" by players, Siegmeyer, the Knight of Catarina, is an amusing character in Dark Souls. As an Undead, he doesn't let his condition sadden him; instead, he is remarkably optimistic, proactive, and values honor. He often dozes off from overthinking, and his armor, round like an onion or a pumpkin, though seemingly comical, is actually very effective for sword defense.
This Max Factory Nendoroid of Siegmeyer faithfully recreates his plump, round appearance from the original game. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, it includes his Pierce Shield and Longsword as accessories. Additionally, it comes with a sitting lower body part and crossed-arms accessories, allowing you to recreate his in-game poses of dozing off while sitting and pondering with his arms crossed, making him incredibly cute and lifelike. Fans of the Dark Souls series should definitely check this out.
