European brand ABYstyle Studio, known for releasing numerous exciting collectibles and lifestyle merchandise based on various films, anime, and video games, has announced the latest product from its Super Figure Collection series: the "SFC Hiei" 1/10 scale PVC figure, based on Yu Yu Hakusho. The suggested retail price is €29.99, with an estimated release in October 2022!!
The popular character Hiei (ひえい) from Yu Yu Hakusho is the son of an Ice Maiden from the Glacier Country. He was abandoned by his clan at birth, deemed a cursed child who would bring disaster. To find the Ice Tear Stone left by his birth mother, Hina, he had a third eye, the "Jagan" (Evil Eye), implanted. He excels in swordsmanship and the "Jao Ensatsu Ken" (Evil King Incineration Fist) fighting style, which manipulates the black flames of the Demon World. Due to his uncontrollable power, he must bind his right arm and the Jagan with bandages to seal the power of the Evil King Black Dragon. His strongest ultimate technique is the "Jao Ensatsu Koku Ryū Ha" (Evil King Incineration Black Dragon Wave), which uses his demonic energy as bait to summon a black dragon, an embodiment of the Demon World's infernal flames, to devour opponents. He can also absorb the Koku Ryū Ha to significantly boost his demonic power.
The "SFC Hiei" 1/10 scale PVC figure stands approximately 15 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Hiei's signature two-tone spiky hair and muscular physique. Transparent effect parts depicting a slender purple dragon coil from his feet to his hands, revealing... a somewhat cute side to the Jao Ensatsu Koku Ryū Ha!
