Just last time we introduced the "40578 Sandwich Shop", and recently LEGO has unveiled another Gift With Purchase (GWP) set that can be paired with "21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay": "40566 Ray The Castaway" (tentative translation)!
This "40566 Ray The Castaway" set is the winning entry from the LEGO IDEAS "Do you want to go to the seaside" contest held in 2021, originally designed by Daditwins. After official commercialization, it contains a total of 239 pieces, and the overall design theme is "Ray" vacationing on a mini deserted island. It includes a stilt hut made of wood and thatch, a palm tree, a single-person raft, as well as elements like a campfire, fishing rod, and a swim ring. The editor personally thinks it's fantastic that the palm tree leaves and the thatched roof use different shades of green bricks, which simultaneously enhances the layering and realism of this mini model! The minifigure features a big beard and red shorts, and can be played with alongside a parrot, crab, snake, and fish. It's worth noting that among Daditwins' brilliant creations, there's also the "Ichiraku Ramen" that we previously introduced!
