Following "Mejiro McQueen," the popular action figure series "figma" from Japanese model maker Max Factory has once again announced its latest product from "Uma Musume Pretty Derby," "Gold Ship." The suggested retail price is 9,800 JPY, with an estimated release in June 2023.
"Gold Ship," a legendary racehorse with a personality as unique as her real-life counterpart, appears cool and beautiful with flowing silver mane and tail, an exceptional physique, and an aura of divinity. However, she often exhibits behavior that is difficult for ordinary people to understand and has an unpredictable temperament, creating a strong contrast with her appearance, making her a regrettable "disappointment-type" beauty. Known for her powerful late-race surge, she is dubbed the "Unsinkable Ship" by horse racing fans and is extremely popular in games and anime, serving as an official promotional character for "Uma Musume."
The "figma Uma Musume Pretty Derby Gold Ship" stands approximately 15 cm tall. Based on her cool, vibrant red racing outfit, it faithfully recreates accessories such as her textured hat, bow tie, and waist bag. It comes with four interchangeable face plates: her signature "smiling face," a "closed-eye smiling face" for victories, an energetic "open-mouth smiling face," and a "deadpan face," along with multiple interchangeable hand parts to express Gold Ship's humorous and quirky personality, as well as cute victory poses and flying kicks. Additionally, "sprinting effect parts" are included, allowing for dynamic and powerful race scenes!
