"Shin Ultraman," directed by Shinji Higuchi and written by Hideaki Anno, is undoubtedly one of the hottest topics among tokusatsu fans recently. Today (27th), Hong Kong designer toy brand Planet-X also unveiled an amazing new soft vinyl figure, the first colorway of "Ultraman C-TYPE"! Pre-orders are now open (if pre-order quantities exceed manufacturing capacity, sales will be conducted via lottery).
This officially licensed "Ultraman" soft vinyl toy from Tsuburaya Productions (円谷プロ) stands approximately 25 cm tall and features 5 points of articulation throughout its body. It faithfully recreates Ultraman's signature silver and red color scheme and the authentic details of the C-TYPE suit, reinterpreted with Planet-X's consistently excellent low-head-to-body ratio. The depiction of muscle lines and clothing wrinkles is also superb, making the overall sculpt increasingly appealing the more you look at it! Furthermore, Ultraman's eyes feature a glow-in-the-dark effect this time, making it even more interesting to display! Highly recommended for all Ultraman toy collectors.
