BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Toy Division TAMASHII NATIONS, in collaboration with Japanese master sculptor Takayuki Takeya, recently announced the latest product from the Star Wars-themed action figure collection series "MEISHO MOVIE REALIZATION": the "Daimyo Boba Fett", based on The Book of Boba Fett! It is scheduled for release in January 2023.
Highlighting the fusion of Eastern and Western styles, MEISHO MOVIE REALIZATION reinterprets classic Star Wars characters with the aesthetic of Japanese Sengoku-era warlords. This time, based on Boba Fett's design and portrayal in The Book of Boba Fett, this former Ronin is reborn as a Daimyo! This figure stands approximately 17.8 cm tall and retains the green, yellow, and brown armor, crafted with new sculpting. The forearms and belt are equipped with a grappling hook launcher, scabbard, holster, and other gear, respectively. The jetpack, a signature feature, the movable scope on the helmet, and the Mythosaur emblem on the shoulder armor are all faithfully reproduced.
Accessories include a rifle and pistol evoking the feel of Japanese matchlock firearms, a katana, grappling hook parts in firing state, and a Gaffi Stick that can be wielded with both hands, reinterpreted in the style of this series! The grappling hook mechanism, transformed from the rope launcher on the right forearm, makes ultra-short-range close combat absolutely feasible! Incredibly cool~
