BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan recently announced the fourth product from the 'Super Robot Wars OG' series, the 'Huckebein Mk-II', from their 'HG (High Grade)' model kit line, scheduled for release on March 11, 2023.
The RTX-010 Huckebein Mk-II is a mass-production prototype developed by Mao Industries, based on improvements to the original Huckebein. It abandons the Black Hole Engine, which carried a risk of runaway incidents, and instead utilizes the engine and frame technology from the Gespenst series. While its performance is inferior to the original Huckebein, its reliability has been significantly improved. Additionally, for experimental purposes, it is equipped with a gravity control system, allowing it to deploy gravity barriers for defense and utilize the powerful large weapon, the 'Gravity Impact Cannon'.
The 'HG Huckebein Mk-II' recreates its refined, jet-black armor design using multi-color molded parts and part separation technology. Parts such as the clear green head camera, the red lines below the eyes, and the white armor are all separately molded. The upper body, chest, and waist feature multiple movable axes, allowing for flexible forward/backward tilting and twisting poses.
Weapon accessories include a Photon Rifle, two Beam Sabers, a Wheel Smasher, a Gravity Impact Cannon, and a movable display stand. The Wheel Smasher on the left arm can be recreated in its firing state by swapping parts. The Gravity Impact Cannon features an unfolding mechanism and can connect to the Huckebein Mk-II's front skirt armor to recreate powerful and cool firing poses!
