Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced several new products from "Black Adam." This article will provide information on the DX29 "Black Adam" 1/6 scale collectible figure.
Scheduled for release in Taiwan on October 19, 2022, the story of "Black Adam" follows the ancient Egyptian, originally named Teth-Adam, who, after being granted the powers of the ancient gods and imprisoned for nearly five millennia, is finally freed from his tomb and brought to the modern era. He will then confront the Justice Society of America, embodying a character who straddles the line between supervillain and anti-hero, capable of both destroying and saving the world.
This figure stands approximately 33 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. It faithfully recreates Black Adam's striking black and grey battle suit with the prominent lightning bolt emblem on his chest, as seen in the film. The figure perfectly captures his muscular, inverted-triangle physique and the powerful muscle lines of his arms and legs. The form-fitting battle suit, utilizing new printing technology, meticulously displays the patterns and ancient Egyptian script. The addition of a belt, forearm guards, and battle boots enhances the overall layered look! With the LED light-up function on the chest, a black hooded cloak, lightning effects, and multiple interchangeable hands, fans can recreate Black Adam's cool and versatile combat poses.
▼ The head sculpt captures actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's furrowed brow expression from the film, featuring rolling eyeballs technology and UV effect paint on the eyes.
