Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios' "Art Scale" product line recently unveiled a new 1/10 scale full body statue, the eponymous "Black Adam", from the film "Black Adam"! It is expected to ship in Q3 2023.
The story of "Black Adam", which premiered in Taiwan on October 19, 2022, recounts how an ancient Egyptian man, originally named "Teth-Adam", after being granted the power of ancient gods and imprisoned for nearly five millennia, is finally freed from his tomb and brought into the modern era, where he will confront the "Justice Society of America"; he is a character who straddles the line between supervillain and anti-hero, oscillating between destroying or saving the world.
This piece stands approximately 27.5 cm tall, faithfully recreating "Black Adam's" black-dominant form-fitting battle suit, the lightning bolt emblem on his chest, and costume details such as the forearm armor, belt, and boots. In addition to fully sculpting his muscular physique, the hooded cape adorned with gold stripes also features a realistic flowing dynamic. The head sculpt captures the serious demeanor portrayed by "Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson" in the film! Furthermore, the base, crafted to resemble the remains of a statue of the famous ancient Egyptian deity Anubis, is a highly captivating element, featuring rich layered paintwork on Anubis, excellent rock texture, and ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic carvings on the pillars.
