The HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. Japan, today announced the latest product from the official side story "A.O.Z Re-Boot Gundam Inle -The Dream of the Black Rabbit-" for its 1/144 scale Gunpla 'HG (High Grade)' series, known for its most diverse range of mobile suits. The "HG 1/144 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] Psycho Blade Custom (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.)" is scheduled for release in January 2023.
The ARZ-124 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] Psycho Blade Custom is a commander unit operated by the "RE-ZEON" remnant Zeon forces led by Alicia Zabi. Most of its design is identical to the standard Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort], but its head is equipped with a special device called "Psycho Blade Antenna," which resembles a goddess statue and possesses the function of transmitting and receiving psycho-wave signals.
The "HG 1/144 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] Psycho Blade Custom (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.)" is based on a modified version of the previously released standard kit. The kit uses black molded colors to represent the mobile suit's dark hue. The head, apart from the twin eye cameras, has been entirely replaced with new parts to recreate the detailed design of the Psycho Blade Antenna. The inner frame structure of the thighs has also been significantly revamped to reproduce a shape closer to the original design sketches.
Accessories include new joint parts that can be used on the limbs. These can be combined with separately sold kits such as the HG 1/144 Barzam RE-ZEON Captured Specification to swap limb parts. Furthermore, by swapping parts, it is possible to recreate the "BLACK HEARS RE-ZEON Specification" used by the special forces unit "Black Hares" during the RE-ZEON founding war.
