The latest product featuring the protagonist of 《Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury》, "Suletta Mercury", from the highly popular character model kit series 『Figure-rise Standard』, released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, is officially scheduled for release on October 15, 2022.
The protagonist of 《Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury》 is a girl named Suletta Mercury. In her childhood, she lived with her mother on the extremely harsh frontier of "Mercury", where Suletta was the only child, and the AI of Gundam Aerial became the family member who accompanied her growth and play. At 16, Suletta was sent by her mother to the "Asticassia School of Technology", operated by the "Benerit Group", a leading company in the mobile suit industry, and gathering elites from around the world, to study in the second year of the piloting department. Many new and unfamiliar things excited her, but due to her introverted personality and lack of experience interacting with peers, she struggled with communication.
The "Figure-rise Standard Suletta Mercury" largely recreates Suletta's in-series appearance through excellent part separation and color molding techniques. Her red hair, headband, and black-and-white uniform are all reproduced with molded colors, and gold stickers are included to represent the collar and chest decorations. The fingertips of each posed hand and the textures of her boots are expressed with delicate sculpting, and the figure features flexible movable joint designs.
For the character's soul, the face parts include one pre-printed expression part and two expression parts that require water-slide decals, perfectly recreating the super cute, raccoon-like appearance that viewers have come to call her. Accessories also include "Haro", the iconic Gundam series character with deployable ears, and a movable display stand, allowing for display with the Suletta main body.
